This started as a photoblog before we had things like instagram. I posted here on a very regular basis as i explored photography through the towns and villages i visited. These days I am in a hibernation of sorts but am still taking a lot of photos. When the time is right, i will revive the content on the site.

why
In Nova scotia, you are never more than 67km away from the ocean, hence the name Mostly The Coast. The inspiration for this photo-exploration is anchored in South Shore, Nova Scotia. I also tend to feature places such as Halifax, The Annapolis Valley, Cape Breton and Cumberland County; places where most of my friends and family live.
My main goal here is to document, illuminate, and collect pieces of the East Coast and present them to you here on the blog. My secondary goal for this site is to keep a portfolio of my best work - sort of like my own little online photo gallery.
