Bread Gallery Exhibition is ON!

More exhibition news this month! I have four photos up in The Bread Gallery in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia. This group exhibition features paintings by Mary Garoutte & Kelly Mitchelmore, photographs by yours truly & Jane Rovers, screen prints by Geordan Moore & Kat Frick Miller, folk art carvings by Jim Tracey, sculptures by Kristie Sheehy and fibre art by Tacha Reed & Blythe Church. The show was organized and curated by Tacha Reed as well. She runs the wonderful Flying Cloud Boutique in Ellershouse (just outside of Windsor, NS) and has rounded up some great work from the artists whose work she sells from this converted Airstream trailer.

June Exhibition: Wildwood Cafe

This month, the Wildwood Cafe is filled with my photos of the South Shore of Nova Scotia; from Liverpool to Riverport to Lunenburg and manny places in between! The show is called South Shore Summer and is inspired by the summer colours of the area. The great thing about putting on a show like this in Bridgewater is that you get lots of people seeing photos of scenes that may be literally in their back yard. I chatted with a lady today - as I was hanging the photos - who runs an antique store directly across the street from where one of my photos was taken so it was a great conversation-starter.

Wildwood Show is ON

I'm very pleased to announce that this month's exhibition at the Wildwood Cafe is ready to roll. I have found a really great way to present my panoramic prints and will do a blog post regarding that in the near future along with some other tips for putting on your own photography exhibition. For now though, I am going to relax a bit and see what comes of this new show.

 WHATS HAPPENING?

Make sure you head over to the Wildwood Cafe this April for some stellar food, great service and some BIG photos of this fair province. I will be displaying three different sets of photos; W-I-D-E panoramas of Nova Scotia landscapes, a set called Lunenburg Noire and a set of Rural Architecture.

The panoramas are 3-feet wide and are all Nova Scotia landscapes; many of which might be right in your own backyard. I stitched them together from several separate images to make giant mega-images! It is also worth mentioning that they will look stunning on your wall at home, so don't be shy to inquire about purchasing. Each photo in the cafe will be the first in a set of 25 limited edition prints.
