Nocturne, the annual art event in Halifax happened last night. The weather was so nice that we decided to make the trip up from the South Shore and it was an excellent decision. Here are some photos from the night.

We started out at Viewpoint Gallery. I was a member here in 2011/12 and it continues to be a vibrant part of the photographic community in Halifax.

Next stop was Government house. I've never been inside of this place before and it did not disappoint.

Next stop was the Incendia Motus show by some of the Halifax Circus folks. I've seen them perform once before but never from this close a vantage point. It was, predictably, awesome.

Next Stop was NovaScotian Crystal. Another spot I have never had the chance to explore. Thanks Nocturne, my mind was blown yet again seeing these talented folks do their craft in front of the crowds of people.

We capped things off with a stroll through Zwicker's Gallery. Three floors of wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling artwork. An inspiring way to end our evening.
